Using "Proper" English

Modern informal culture doesn't always encourage proper English. Texting, e-mail and social media demand short, quick bursts of language, which leaves the rules of spelling and grammar in the dust.

But proper English is necessary for many writing tasks in life. Don't forget to take a time out from text messaging when writing business communications, school essays, or filling out an application.

Spreading the Word

When you are a creative individual, you often are immersed in your work. I have spent many years watching my artist and musician friends creative beautiful pieces of art or inventive songs, but often these talented people don't know how to take the next step.
